Undressing Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham poses nude on the new Marc Jacobs' tshirt. The shirts are being sold to raise money for The Interdisciplinary Melanoma Cooperative Group at NYU. "Skin cancer is a huge problem and I really wanted to help raise awareness by taking part in the initiative" says the former Posh Spice. $35 per shirt will be on sale in MJ boutiques this week.

Boys Will Be Boys: Upcoming Fall Trends in Menswear

Hot off the runway, here are Fall 2008's upcoming trends for men's wear. New technology is not only allowing leaps in design including screen printing on knits and distressing khakis. (You may question these claims now, but come 2009 I'm sure these trends will have worked their way into societal norms):

- Plaids and Checks, American Apparel basic is out and your inner lumberjack is back
- Shawl Collars – grandpa’s cozy sweater is having a fashion moment in a Hugh Hefner/Nordic aristocrat kind of way
- Khakis - new fits, washes, wrinkle stains that we usually see in denim are bleeding over into other types of pants. Don't write this off too easily, because pre-2000 denim did not boast to these techniques either
- Printed Sweaters – prints can come on more than just tshirts
- Innovative cardigans – asymmetrical, new front cuts, different button styles
- Tuxedo Shirts worn casually as the casual-sportswear/formal lines continue to blur into one another

Body Part Model Pictures

As requested, here are some samples of Christina Ambers model shots

This Girl Is Known For Her Hand Jobs

You may not recognize this model by her face, but you would definitely recognize some of her other body parts. This is a rare headshot of Christina Ambers, body part model. Mostly known for her hand jobs (sorry, there's just no better way to say it), she headlines campaigns for Revlon, La Mer, Coach, Harry Winston, Waterworks, Boucheron, and Sally Hansen. And if that's not enough, she has also been dubbed the "Heidi Klum of foot models".

KK Butt Secrets

Being the complete sucker for placebos and clever marketing that I am, I'm excited beyond belief to find out Brett Hoebel, personal trainer to the gorgeous Karolina Kurkova (KK to her friends), teaches classes at my gym. Not only do I want to place an immediate order for some Swedish athletic gear, but I am also convinced that taking his classes will turn me into a leggy Eastern European supermodel. Her latest trade secret to keep that Victoria's Secret Angel butt: the Platypus Walk. Waddle around a room at least 15 steps in each direction, with feet turned out and knees being in a grande-plie squat. Hold until you legs are shaking.

No! No! Yes? Yes?

Using the revolutionary technology Thermicon comes No!No!, the latest development in hair removal technology. The painless, laser-like light-based hair removal device works with heat to singe single hair follicles making them disappear forever. After 4 months of twice a week use, that is. No!No! will only cost you $250 total (plus time and self control), which is pennies compared to laser hair removal at $250 per session. Any testers out there, keep my skeptical mind updated.

Tasty Truffles

Fashion Week is approaching so the last thing I should be blogging about is chocolate, but I cannot resist Christopher Norman's Mosaic Box. Hand painted chocolate include truffles which correspond with their respective color: Pomegranate is Purple, Orange Caramel is Orange, Lemon Thyme is Yellow, Manhattan Dark is Blue, Framboise is Fuchsia and Green Tea is Green. At only $28 for a box, this makes the perfectly sweet valentine's gift with money left over for dinner.

Dull is the new Pink

If last season's black fingernails and traditional French pastels had a love child it would be the hot new nail color of the season: grey. Light enough to fly in the office and edgy enough to go out at night, there is no compromising this neutral new nail shade. Make a subtle statement that can still be called a statement by matching your tips to the the cold winter sky. Before Lindsay Lohan abuses this trend, get your hands on some grey shades such as OPI Glamour or Obsessive Compulsive Grey Matter.

Breast Cancer Survivor Fashion

In collaboration with HUMC designer Hilary Boyajian has created the fashion line Chikara, after the Japanese word for strength, to cater to breast cancer survivors and their need to hide the asymmetry that comes with a mastectomy, lumpectomy, radiation therapy, or reconstructive surgery. The pieces are fitted with ruffles, flounces, or gathers in right or left versions. Wholesaling from $85-$150, a percentage of sales goes to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. How big is the void in this market? Boyajian remarks "Even if its a small percentage, its a nglected niche and its relevant". Smart and thoughtful, these pieces do much more than look pretty.

Who Will Make Our Cheap&Chic?

Isaac Mizrahi announced that he will be leaving Target Co. at the end of this year to become the creative director of all categories of Liz Claiborne brand. Mizrahi was known mostly for creating fashion forward looks for Target trained prices. Althought Target has a constant flux of designers sharing their million dollar ideas for under $50, Mizrahi was the first and the most prevalent in the stores. He even has an entire section dedicated to his design on the e-commerce website. Who will be his successor? Will their presence be as large in Target stores? There are a large pair of $29.99 shoes to be filled.
